Yuto Kitamura

Yuto Kitamura is a Professor at the Graduate School of Education. He also serves as the Visiting Fellow at the JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development. He is specialized in comparative education and has been conducting extensive research on the education policies of developing countries, particularly in Southeast Asia (mainly Cambodia).

He had worked at UNESCO and taught at Nagoya University and Sophia University. He has served as a Fulbright Scholar at the George Washington University, a Visiting Professor at the University of Dhaka, and a Special Advisor to the Rector of Royal University of Phnom Penh. He received B.A. in Education (Keio University) and M.A. and Ph.D. both in Education (UCLA).
