Nobuko Kayashima
Senior Research Advisor, JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development

Nobuko Kayashima is Senior Research Advisor at the JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development. She joined JICA in 1982 and has played a leading role in the planning and implementation of JICA’s education cooperation over the past four decades.

Prior to her current assignment, she served as Senior Vice President, Director/Deputy Director of the JICA Ogata Research Institute, and Director General of the Human Development Department. While holding management positions at JICA, she has been actively involved in academic research activities and received her Ph.D. from Nagoya University for her research on the internationalization of Japanese universities.
